so what's the best way of applying aa/af to your games. do you use your gfx control panel to force the issue or do you only use in game settings? and what takes preference if both are set at different levels?

using cat 6.7 with the full ccc . i did have a quick google and from what i can gather, some sites say to use ingame settings. but then i miss out on adaptive aa? it's all too confusing for my tiny brain.... :D

to keep things simple i only have hl2 episode one installed at the moment and want to play it looking at the best my card (in sig) can handle...... :)

ok i've been experimenting with just normal hl2 and i really can't tell tell the difference between having aa enabled or set to off. must look harder..... :o :D

enabling af on the otherhand is much more noticeable. :)
