Setting BIOS to default killed my gfx?

I recently bought a new PC so my old PC got relegated to non-gaming status. I thought that I would no longer need to overclock the old system so I went into BIOS, reset everything to default and restarted. Upon reboot the system wouldn't post, all I recieved was 1 Long Beep followed by 2 Short Beeps.

My Mobo is an A8N-SLI Deluxe, so apparantly this means that my Graphics Card is now fubared: http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm
(I'm not 100% sure I have the right code-table, could someone confirm this for me?)

I've taken out the battery and cleared the CMOS and it still doesn't work. Next step is trying another PCI-E gfx card but I'm not about to stick my new 8800GTX in there.

I haven't had to do anything to the PC for since I first set it up and overclocked it over two years ago, it's been immensly stable and served me very well but this is just gutting. Having just spent over 2 grand on a new system I'm not best pleased by the prospect of having to buy a new gfx card for my old PC just to get it working again.

It failed to boot before I even touched that case, I reset to defaults just in BIOS so I couldn't have knocked the card.

The PC was working fine, I restarted, went it to BIOS, did 'Reset to Defaults', F10 to Save and Quit, then the very next boot it died on me.

I've since taken the card out and re-seated it but that didn't help :(

Decided to buy a cheap pci-e card to test with. I hope it works and it's not the motherboard that pooped :(
