Ok, want to start pushing my system a little. E6600 at present at 2.8, and 6400 Ram at 667Mhz 5,5,5,12 on an Ausus P5W DH. Bios 903.

What do I need to do to get ram to 800, 4,4,4,12. I can see settings for the 4,4,4,12 but the settings in DDR only have odd numbers like 667, 772, 827?? Which one of these shall I select 772 or 827?

also, can someone explicitly state what voltages to change and to what? can't seem to find a vdimm setting to set at 2.1 volts (I presume?)

If I push the E6600 to say 3.2, at present vcore says 1.95 volts, should I increase this a little too?

cheers for any help, Am :)

Well, the RAM voltage is called Memory Voltage on the Advanced Tab > Jumperless COnfiguration.......set mine to 2.1v, as per recommended spec.

For the RAM to be at 800MHz it is based on the FSB being default (i.e. 266MHz).....as soon as you start raising the FSB to OC the CPU, the RAM goes up with it......the choices you are seeing are divider options....

eg FSB @ 266MHz, RAM @ 800MHz becomes FSB @ 400MHz, RAM @ 1200MHz (simply times both numbers by 1.5) ....probably a really carp explanation

vCore @ 1.95v !!!!  Spec says circa. 1.35v - Definitely DO NOT want to be putting that much through the CPU.....

ok I sort of see. At present I have it at 9 x 330, and the ram at 1:1 4,4,4,12 (330.4 Mhz).

pushing any higher results in a no post (~scary :P ), tried 340 for the CPU no post, so can't get the Ram to 400... hmm...would I need to increase voltage on the CPU to up it a little? I was wrong before, the CPU is running at 1.32....
