Setting manual ram settings P67-GD53?

It just passed 20 passes on maximum with IBT. Surely that's good enough?

Yep, you just need to use and abuse it now with games, music, surfing etc...

You may want to consider another prime session just to dot the i's and cross the t's but - it's more important that it's stable with daily routines/usuage.

Off swimming with the kids (joy) - good luck you're pretty much there.

Cheers Plec. You're a gentleman!

Unfortunately this super computer is for a friend, not me. I'm sure it'll be back on my desk in two weeks full of viruses, I'll check out the overclock then!

Thanks again.

P.S. I'm heading out also and will run Prime untill I get home tonight. Enjoy the flumes :p

No worries - i hope your efforts on your friends behalf pay off.

Hehe, i know exactly what you mean. You spend hours setting up the perfect system for a friend: - latest drivers, stable clock with minimum crap installed etc... Then a few weeks later it's back in front of you full of malware crippling the system – but somehow it’s your problem. And of course they have no idea how they got on there - and i’m supposed to believe that dodgy porn sites played no part in their riddled system...

I'm heading out also and will run Prime untill I get home tonight.
How did the run go?

Haha... exactly what happens!!

Welllll....... it did say the test completed after 3 and a half hours. It did moan about some error saying 0.5 didn't expect more than 0.4.

At this point I was losing patience. It didn't cut out. It did pass 20 passes on maximum stress with IBT. That's bound to be good enough.

He has the system now anyway. If he does report back that it's causing issues, cut outs etc... which I doubt. I'll just drop the clock to 4.2Ghz and that should solve it. He doesn't do anything except dodgy porn sites and world of warcraft at the moment anyway. He is planning on playing some more games down the line.

These don't max CPU's to 100% anyway. I realise I'm trying to justify this to myself haha... am I convincing you :p
