Just a quick question, I am ripping my CD collection to my new computer and the rip speeds are quite slow on my 3GHz E2160. I opened up task manager and the cpu usage is about 10%.

My question is, if I right click on the media player process and select a higher priority, will it speed it up? When I tried to select high it come up with a "could cause instability" message, is this just bs or should I not be messing with priority's?

More than likely limited by the speed and mode that the CD drive is using and not by the CPU.
