Heya folks

first off - thanks to those that helped me out with advice about a setup problem I had about 2 weeks ago - it was much appreciated (as I finally got the system going now) :)

I have a quick query for those out there that have the following card - or atleast experience of it:

Asus GeForce 8800 GTX HTDP 768MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express)

After the installation of a few apps I got these readings showing up:

GPU: 62 degrees C / 143 degrees F
Fan: 60%

Is that a normal set of readings, or is there a problem? Also, can I do anything in the settings to improve this?

And lastly - another app called PCProbe II gave this message:

Warning: 1.2VHT voltage

It was showing up in red, but I don't know if this or the other readings are ok.

If anyone can help I'd certainly appreciate it - now that it's running I'd just like to see if I can get it running any better.

On the desktop - after I'd installed the app that was the first reading for that item it displayed amongst the other stuff. But I had run 3dmark about 10 mins before that (if that makes any difference at all).

well i dont have a 8800 but i do no thay get hot think thay can handle up to 90-94c my x1950 pro is on 40c on the desktop and around 60-70 in games and the 8800 do get hotter then x1950s

62 at idle isn't bad, you could probably get it lower if you used rivatuner or a different bios to turn the fan speed up.

My 8800GTS idles higher than that, so i wouldnt worry.

Ah - Rivatuner - I downloaded that the other day :) Sounds like a nice little app - any tips for settings I should put into it?

(Just found the VHT voltage thing is something apparently in the bios area - was told I should set it to 1.25 and that should sort it out. Now to find a cpu temperature app to see how that's getting on :) )
