hi

i have some corsair ram that is rated at 1.65v and can run at 1600 mhz. but the asus p6t deluxe bios wont let me set 1.65 as a voltage only 1.64 or 1.66. so for the moment i have downclocked the ram to 1333 mhz with 1.64v - i didnt want to use 1.66 because it says it could damage my cpu in the bios when i set it this high. will the ram be stable at 1.64 with 1600 mhz? or is there any way to set voltage at 1.65?

thanks

I would say that it will be stable at 1.64v.

Also your CPU won't suddenly go up in smoke at 1.66v. There will be some sort of a cushion between the 1.65v limit recommended by Intel and the level they believe can cause damage.
