I got a motherboard with a built in Radeon X300(128mb shared mem) and i have the ATI drivers installed(6.1, latest for my IGP) from their website, but the problem is i am trying to set a resolution of 640x480 to enable me to use tvout onto my 32" CRT flatscreen TV and i can't.

The lowest i can go in right click on windows > properties > settings is 800x600.

Does anyone know how i can set this resolution?

Thank you :)

Some resolutions are only available at a certain colour depth. Try changing the colour quality to 24bit, 16bit, 8bit, 256 etc, and try 640x480 at each setting.
