Setting screen res to 1920x1200 in games

hi

must first start by apologising for asking this question as i'm sure it's been asked and answered a number of times but have been unable for some polite reason to find it.

I'm especially wondering how to set the screen resoltion for BF2, Fear, C&C ZH, COD2. Am expecting new 2407 on Tuesday and have noticed that BF2 does'nt offer the resoltion so presume many other games wont either.

have a look about in the battlefield 2 folder that gets made in your "my documents " folder then find display thing open it with notepad and change it manualy should be same for some other games 2 just have a look about there folders

Cod2, put this in your config

seta r_mode 19
seta r_aspectRatio "wide 16:10"

First of all I would wait until you have your new monitor installed, as some (well programmed) games read from your available display modes. Hence if 1920x1200 isn't available on your current monitor, it may not show up in the menu - but it may do when you have the new one.

BF2 doesn't natively support that res, so to make it work put the following into your command line on the game shortcut:

+szx 1920 +szy 1200

And even though it won't say the res is 1920x1200 in the options, it really is.
