HI all,
Need infomation and a little bit of help if possible.
I have a VirginMedia 20mb internet connection and i also use a Linksys WRTG54G router, I have 2 xbox360's, One is connecting wirelessly and the second console is cabled in with a ethernet cable. Now my question is this, When running the wizard on either xbox it says i can connect but my nat profile if moderate, meaning i could have problems in games and also with speech on the headset as well, This is happening on my son's machine. Now i have placed his xbox in the DMZ with a static IP and he appears to be OK now, However i did notice when i turned my xbox on after i sorted his it kicked him off and it wouldnt let him connect. until i disconnected from live.
it is currently setup with his machine in the DMZ(Not Ideal) and mine has a staically assigned IP with various ports forwarded.
Now my question is this, Do you use static IP's or DHCP to allocate the ip's out to the xbox's i do have a config page within my router which will allow me to forward ports for all machines on my lan. any help is appreciated as want to get the 2 machines working on the same internet connection.
