Setting up 6970

Just setting up 6970 and wondering how far off the mark for what this card should be running. Considering a reinstall, really want to wait till have too.

Is that possible on a 1680x1050 monitor?

No matter what I do I cannot get this benchmark to run in 1680x1050. Even if I set the resolution it still runs in 1280x1024

what is your monitor's native resolution and can you select 1680x1050 as an option in your windows's display settings?

BTW, are you keeping the 480 Fox or are you still looking at alternatives?

i get the same as you with 1900x1200 my cpu is 300mhz more than ures so looks about right

Did a retest, cant get greater res, with my monitors sorry. but thinking its working like a cracking card.

Maybe later this year change of machine will have this card really pushing the gaming world for me.

Probably going to waste a ton of cash on a 570 instead. Irrational Fox is Irrational.

Those results look right, for comparison, here's my highly modded 6870 on the same screen settings

My 6950@70 gets 1439 on the same settings. My CPU is clocked slightly higher though
