So I have a few new parts to build a new rig.

Have new:

Ryzen 5 3600
Msi B450 Max
2x8GB Ddr4

Existing:

Samsung evo ssd
750w psu
Max tower

Im sure I'm going to run into technical problems so wanted to double check on the correct order/procedure to set up everything.

Going to put all parts together for new rig, have windows 10 installed onto USB with product key ready written down.

Is it a case of just putting everything together then firing it up and inserting usb to install Windows.

Windows 10 is already on the ssd but am I better off booting up the USB and then connecting the ssd later once I'm in? Or connect ssd first? Will the new mobo/cpu recognise windows 10 from the ssd?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

It's best to install Windows fresh with a new system. Connect the SSD but make sure to boot from the USB stick (find the key to push for boot menu). Follow the steps in the Windows installer and you should be all good :)
