Setting up a Projector

I've just been given a Panasonic PT-LM1E-C projector and I was wondering what's the best way to set it up. I'd say it's going to go on the wall behind the couch and a Projector screen to pull down infront of the TV. It's only got a VGA connection and no HDMI so it's obviously old. How do I connect everything to it such as the Xbox, Sky, DVD player etc or is it too old and I need to invest in a newer one?

So I connect all my stuff to the A/V receiver then my A/V receiver to the Projector? How much would I roughly need to invest, maybe £500 tops or is that not enough?

Yep, that's pretty much what you do. For £500 you could get a decent 1080p budget projector such as a BenQ W1070. Been around for some time now (I think its now been superseded) you can get a BIG (about 100" diagonal) screen from about 10' away.

BenQ W1070 is a good buy. I love mine, pair it with the amp as suggested. You can pick up that PJ for a good price now. Don't skimp on the screen :)
