setting up a router as just a dumb switch

help,
i have 2 computers now in one room and instead of running more cat 5 into that room i have a spare netgear router ( wpn824 ) .

my main router is a netgear dg834pn that dish's out the IPs and i want to connect the other router as a switch in my spare room dut still using the DHCP and port forwarding of my main router.

how do i setup the 824?

Switch DHCP off on the wpn824, connect machines and the connection to the other router to the switch ports. Job done.

Also make sure the ip on the wpn is not set to something that may conflict with something else on the network.
