I wonder if someone here had some advice on the following.

I'm try to connect my home PC to my business network so it looks like I am sat on the network. I've so far tried Hamanchi which works great if I just want to see one PC but i would like to see the shared folders on about 5 PC's and also see a NAS box. Hamanchi says you can do this by 'bridging networks' but I've read through the sticky and it looks very complex and with hit and miss results so it seems.

Ive also searched through here and downloaded openVPN but again I cant seem to work that out as it seems you have to run it through a command line interface.

I just want something simple thats works free or paid

Cheers for reading

What OS is the business network server running? If Window 2k3, then set that up to be a remote assess server (Routing and remote access) - this will then handle the VPN connections correctly and allow you to achieve what you want.

Or (as I am thinking this is your set up) you have all the PC's connected directly to the router and no server, have a look and see if your router supports VPN clients - Set the Router up to be the VPN server - then Bob's your Uncle's Auntie problem solved!

Yeah just behind a netgear DG384 Router I think it supports VPN, but do you use it with Netgears own VPN software client

what os does the business primarly deal with, also what type of vpn are you after - an always on vpn, or a dial in vpn?

what you could do is remote desktop over hamachi into the machine you've installed hamachi on in work

that way you'd be actually using that pc FROM yours
