I'm interested in setting up a website preferably for free but i dont really know where to start. I have registered with a free web hosting site http://www.awardspace.com/ which offers 200mb of space and some email accounts which is fine for me. I have also registered a free name with the dot.tk people (they provide you with a redirect ULR i assume that may be where the problem lies). Is it possible to merge the 2 together or link to the webspace? If not if i registered and paid for a name with someone like ukreg ie the absolute basic 2 year deal for £3 a year would i be able to set that up?

Now your probably all totally confused  but i am pretty new to this and dont really kno what to do.

Any help would be apreciated

Thanks!

So its no good for what i want i assume? I though that may be the case. Where is the best place to buy a domain name? Is there an way to buy a name outright or can you only rent them for a certain amount of time?

Ok thanks for that. So i just configure the primary and secondary servers (to the ones stated by the hosting provider) when i buy the domain name? Can i then just add email addresses in the host provider and leave the domain site alone until i want to change hosters or re register the name? Or do i have to buy a specific deal with the domain provider?
