As title I guess.
We have a dedicated fax line that costs a silly amount of money to have, considering I only send about half a dozen faxes a week (used to be a lot more).
I'd like ideally to do away with this line completely and use my office pc (W7) to send faxes from (Receiving faxes would be nice but is not a deal breaker)
The office PC doesn't have a modem in it, but it's physically wired to our network for internet/printing etc
Do I need an internal/external fax modem? If so how do I wire it up as the telephone line obviously connects to the router....or would I still need the second dedicated fax line?
Can it be done any other way?
Brain hurts!
Cheers
