I have the OCZ Special OPS 4GB RAM, shown as the 2nd item here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/sho...php?t=18255613
I just checked in the BIOS and the timings were all set to Auto, and were showing 9-9-9-20. So I changed the 20 to 24, and left the others as they were.
The MHz just said Auto, so I selected 1600MHz DDR3 from the dropdown menu.
The voltage was also set to Auto and was at around 1.5v, fluctuating very slightly by about 0.06v, and so I left this as it is.
Is that correct?
Also, looking into it I see that the lower the timings the better. So should I set it to 8-8-8-24 for best performance?
And if so, what should I do to the voltage, as the specification says that it should be (1.55v-1.65v) for the 8 timings instead of (1.45v-1.55v) for the 9s ? Or will it being on Auto automatically adjust it to the correct voltage?
Thanks.
