Hi all,

I've got my old 17" crt ctx at the moment, i'm liking the idea of having a dual display. My old card is a leadtek geforce ti, it's got a vga and a dvi connection on the back.

What cable do i need for the dual display? Any 15/17" flat panel to recommend? Cheaper the better as i dont play pc games, more for work/net etc etc :)

You'll need to connect one monitor via VGA and the other via DVI. What cable does your current monitor have? You do not need any other special cable XP will auto detect the 2 monitors. I would download Ultramon to make best use of dual displays.

If you get a flat panel with DVI (digital) input, you can hook it up with no need for extra cables/adapters. You could also get one with VGA (Analogue) input, which would require a DVI-VGA adapter.

OcUK have 3 17" LCD monitors in stock.

You should search these forums, and google around for reviews/feedback on each monitor.

did you get your graphics card new? most of the cards with a DVI socket on the back come with a DVi to VGA converter in the box. check that first, but i dont hink there that espensive if you dont haven one
