Hi

Im trying to set up eyefinity with 3 monitors.

i have from left to right 1680x1050 - 1920x1080 - 1680x1050

at the moment i have the middle display with a black border, ive scaled it up to fill the screen but obviously stuff is slightly bigger on the middle display now.

how do i set all the monitors to their own correct resolution?

not 100% sure but i dont think you can and if im right all 3 will have to run at 1680x1050, if so you would be better off with another 1680x1050, i hope im wrong and someone can correct me

Yeah, for gaming, games cant cope with different resolutions, the game sees three screens as one continuous size, like 5760x1080 for three 1080p screens, or 5040x1050 for three 1050 screens, so your one 1080 monitor needs to run at 1050 to be added to the group... Whether it looks best with black bars or stretched is up to you

1680x1050 it is fella! If I was you I'd put that 1920x1080 to either side as it'll be your main view for games and will look smeared running lower res.

bugger.

the bigger monitor is 24" and the others only 20"

ive managed to get the middle monitor full screen using the 'underscan' (?) feature in CCC and uped the sharpness a little to try and cope with it having a slight blur.

It doesnt look as good as either side but i cant go back to such a small monitor as my main display.

i shall have to look at getting replacements :p

Ive not tried it with any games yet so it i will give it a week before i make a decision whether to stick with eyefinity for now.

oh well, thanks for the help anyway.
