I got 1 HDD that has OS on C:

and another that has all my documents on E:

I know if i start saving files they will automatically save onto the C:. So how do i set i up so anything i save will automatically save on to the E:

p.s. IDE connecetions. C: is the master and E: is the slave.

Thanks

Do you mean to your My Documents folder on the C drive? You can right click on it on XP and change its location, this will normally be where most save windows open.

In Vista Im not 100% how you do it. If you go to Administrative Tools>Computer manager>Local Users and Groups>Users>bring up the properties for your user and change the home path to E:\ shoudl do it.

It's XP.

I currently have two HDD

C: Has os installed- with all user profiles

E: Which is empty just formatted it

I wont to have C: just for OS files

E: for everyone documents.

I.E they would go into E: to load a word document that was saved.

or

When buy music of Itunes it will automatically save into E:

Document and setting is the folder.

When i right click there is not an option to change its location

C: For boot

E: for documents
