I have recently changed my ISP from NTL to BT Broadband. I took the option 3 package and got the BT homehub / phone etc.

I have 2 computers that need Internet access but they do not have any wireless netwroking capabilities. When I was using NTL before I set up a home network using a Netgear RP114 router. The Cable modem pluged into the router and then both computer plugged into the router.

Can i still set up an ethernet network like this using BT Broadband ? Or do I need to make both computers capable of wireless networking ?

it has 2 x Ethernet 10/100 Mbps sockets

I am guessing I can hook up each PC into a different socket using a standard Cat 5 network cable then ?

I haven't used one of these but it I would try that, don't see why it wouldn't work.
