Im trying figure out setting up ISA 2006 in a lab for testing purposes, eventually I want ISA to filter all HTTP, control incoming/outgoing VPNS to remote sites and publish OWA and SPS.

We have two remote sites and want to create a trust between the domains, there will be an ISA 2006 Server at each site as well as a DC, the GC will be stored on all 3 Domain Controllers

Now I need some help setting this up in a Testing enviroment, how would I go about it, My minds gone blank!!

you say that, I've managed to aquire a copy of VMware ESX server, but how can you simulate on a VM the internet between the ISA servers???

wondered if you could help with another scenario, I have 1 dc say 444.com and I want to add another DC but not a replica dc, I want a new domain tree within the exisiting forest so all the trusts are there etc

now when I try to do this through dc promo, it fails to find an active directory controller in a existing forest.

so Ive ran a few test..

netdiag /test:dsgetdc /d:ourdomain /v
that passed, but this fails, Now I know the problem is in dns, I just don't kno where!!

dcdiag /test:dcpromo /dnsdomain:ourfqdn /NewTree /ForestRoot:Forest_Root_Domain_DNS_Name /v

help!!
