I am looking for some ideas and feedback for a little project I have at the moment. I work at a Subway joint and we have one computer system right now.

There will be three computers in total for customers to use, for now I have decided to forget about a server controlling each system but it's not something I have ruled out.

The computers are FREE to use for customers, provided they buy something so they will have to log on with a set password and I would like to limit the time of use.

The main goal is to prevent customers using the computers for long periods and I have thought about implementing a timer system where they are logged out after 30 minutes, but they will be able to log back in. The logout serves as a reminder that they have used their allowance as such and should end their session.

I also considered implementing many different passwords but a system like that could get far too complicated.

Any ideas? Please move this thread if it's in the wrong place.

Thanks

Karl

I'm looking ideally for the following software

* Time software that logs the user out after a set time limit

* Software that accepts numerous time codes or login details and after which that id/time code is disabled for a set time. Maybe 24 hours. Obviously enough time codes/login credentials will need to be generated.

I have found some time controlled software that logs out after a set time, and I will trial this on the three machines for a short period. If more functionality is required then the time code/loging software will be implemented.

Bump :o
