I have a few spare PC parts I want to put to good use and thought of having my own cloud server for personal use using some open source software called OwnCloud as I could use their Android app too.
I wanted to have my own domain which I can access but for this I would assume I would need my own name servers? Or maybe I could use a managed service like No-IP. I'd quite like the challenge of doing it myself but wouldn't mind if I had a slightly more simple solution such as the No-IP one.
