I got the last of my parts today and I'm setting up my rig as I type.

Does it matter what PCI slot I use for my GFX card?

Yes, normally the one nearest the CPU IO plate.

Check the manual.

Hopefully you'll be using a PCI-E slot unless you have a really ancient card.

You should use the top slot nearest the processor.
