Hi,

I'm looking to set up a dual monitor display on my work PC - I've tried various configurations but can't get the 2nd monitor to be detected. Can anyone please advise?

Monitor 1: Is a Hanns.G monitor, I connect to the PC through an HDMI port on the Monitor into the DVi port on the graphics card. This monitor also has DVi and VGA inputs.

Monitor 2: is an older Fuji monitor - this has DVi and VGA inputs.

The PC has a VGA input, and on the G/Card has an input for DVi and one that looks like a HDMI input, but not the same size of port as the one on the monitor.

Can anyone please help?!

Thank you. :confused::confused::confused::confused:

The driver is up to date for the graphics card and the Hanns:G monitor - i've not installed one for the second screen - I assumed it would auto detect it as it's not being detected by the PC.

I've discovered it's called a "display port".

Therefore my graphics card has a "display port" and a DVi port.

Hence, could I go "display port" to "HDMi" on my Monitor 1

and DVi to DVi on Monitor 2

?

Yeah you just need a display port to hdmi or dvi lead which is about 10 quid. My colleague has one for his 3 monitor setup as our gfx cards have vga, dvi and minidisplay port.
