Setting up RGB / Control / Sync

Hi All,

I might be building my own rig soon, so I've been doing some research. One area that has changed since I used to build are RGB items and specifically how to control it all.

The case I'm looking at comes with an RGB controller, and the case fans all plug into it. That control has buttons on the case to set the different modes/colours etc..

But how does the CPU RGB fan link to that system, also how does the RAM link to that system?

I've seen information online about software that controls RGB? But will that work with the case controller for RGB? Will they be sync or separately controlled.

Ideally I'd like the controller that comes with the case to control everything, but I get the impression that it won't be able to control my CPU fan / RAM RGB (I could be wrong here).

Any insight/education welcome,

Thanks again!

Phil

Hi All,

Thanks for all the replies!

My motherboard is likely to be ASUS TUF B650

My Case is likely to be Phanteks Eclipse G360A.

From all the comments it seems very unlikely that it can be all controlled by the case. There's a better chance by plugging everything into the motherboard and using third part software to try and control everything? for example Signal RGB.

My other RGB devices:

I can't see the above parts on the Signal RGB website.

I am flexible on the above, but need to balance performance/price etc..

Thanks,

Thanks again for the responses,

Sounds like, I just need to go ahead with the build and cross the RGB bridge later, there will be a solution, it could be signal RGB or a combination of other software solutions.
