Hi, recently I've been playing around with the various storage configurations in Windows Server 2012R2 but I'm a tad confused on the parity configuration.
I have four drives in my Microserver to reach a total of 7.2TB of storage however when I configure storage spaces for parity I only receive 4.8TB of storage space which is odd as that leaves 2.4TB for the parity information but that is less than two drives.
Does anyone have any information on this as does it mean I can loose two drives or one drive?
