Setting up VMWare network

I've been looking into VMWare lately and have downloaded the trial of Workstation on my laptop.. I've been trying to set up a domain with it consisting of Server 2k8 running as a DC with a couple XP Pro PCs as clients.

I'd like to run the server as a DHCP server giving out addresses to the clients but still with internet access running through my laptop. I can't seem to figure out the settings needed in VMWare to do this!

Any help is appreciated!

Ah ta for the response! Didn't think to use another router inbetween.. Was hoping I could do it through the software.

Got it all working in the end.. Did as atomiser suggested and set up IPCop as a virtual router. Works perfectly! :D

I kinda wanted it set up like a standalone network otherwise I probably would have left it that way. My virtual router will supply internet to the VMs as it just gets a DHCP address on the red connection on any network it connects to.
 
Ah cool.. I thought if I did it like that it would cause hassle on my networks. Didn't realise VMWare acted as a NAT! :)

Will have to have a play and learn more about it! Only just starting..
