setting up vpn on server 2003

can anyone tell me how to do this properly. i am trying to set it up just as a test, i am running server 2003 with 2 nic cards once i run setup and install the vpn, the server cannot connect to the internet and i cannot remote desktop into it. I have tried using the servers ip to connect via vpn but it didn't work. One i remove the vpn role the connection goes back to normal i i gat rdp into it again

Its hard to explain in detail, To start with use just one Nic. You realy only need two if your using routing and remote access as well.
