I'm trying to configure WAMP on an XP box for some very lightweight web hosting duties. I'll happily confess I don't know much about this stuff.
Basically I've tossed Apache 2.2 on there, which is fine. I then tried installing PHP 5.3.6 and, when it asks where the Apache configuration folder is, pointing it at the relevant place.
This installs fine but, when I try to restart the Apache service, I'm getting a fault in php5ts.dll and I have no idea why.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to try? The box is literally a fresh install of XP SP3 with nothing else on it that could be interfering. I'm tempted to try one of the unified WAMP installers but not sure whether this is a good idea or which one to use.
