I have made 2 partitions on a singe hdd, and installed windows on one, then copied my data to to the other.

what do i need to do now? because i had a backup made by windows for my libraries, it has put the wholes user file into the data partition. however, the OS partition also has a user file created by windows during the isnatall.

is there a way to make windows use the data partition for my user profile, or di i just have to keep moving things manually?
I tried to just drag the file into the other partition but windows won't allow this

please help me on this, as i don't want to use a single partition again and have to wipe all data just to do a fresh install! :)

When you click on the Start Button and see Documents, Pictures etc. You can right click on them and set a new save location. Just remove the other folders in the list once you set it and when you click on it in the future, it will open the new location.
