A friend of mine has recently had Ntl Cable installed and wanted me to set up a wireless connection. I contacted ntl and they told me to get a None-ADSL router which i did. Still can't get a wireless connection, can only get online using the ethernet and usb from the router to his laptop. Does anyone know if the router needs to be connected to a pc and then the laptop will find the wireless connection??? I thought I could just set the router up from the laptop then unplug the usb and ethernet cables and the wireless card would pick the connection up straight away. How Wrong I Was!!!!
