Hi,

i've got Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB)

I am trying to set it at 5-5-5-12. But i don't want to mess anything up but since Abit's IP35 bios has more than 4 paramters for memory timing.

what exactly do i need to set in the bios, i have these options at the moment. They are set automatically to SPD (Serial Presence Detect).

all of these are set to auto

cas latency time
ras# to cas# delay
ras# precharge
refresh cycle time
write recovery time
write to read delay
act to act time
read to precharge

now which ones do i set to 5-5-5-12

Cas Latency = 5
DRam RAS# To Cas# Delay = 5
DRam RAS# Precharge = 5
Precharge Delay (tRAS) = 12. (Probably the Refresh Cycle time on yours)

so top 4.

I think if you change it to manual though, it will come up with the settings its using, so you can see what to change.

i got 2 (well, ones dead) sticks of PC2 6400 Corsair and it sets itself to 5 5 5 12 automatically. I changed it from auto to manual and all the settings were already there
