Settings for Dell 30" Ultrasharp

Hi guys, ive got a little problem and im hoping someone in the know can help me out. Ive recently purchased a used 30" Dell Ultrasharp 3008 WFP monitor from a friend who barely used it, its all working well etc and looks great with the only exception that next to my 4 year old Dell 24" 2407WFP ultrasharp monitor it kind of looks a little duller (almost tinted over) despite the brightness being at its highest it just isnt as vibrant as my 24" dell

Am i missing something ? i know its difficult to get two screens looking the same but i would have thought with both being dell ultrasharp wfp modiels they would have been similar

Would love someones advice on this or perhaps suggest a way of setting them up so they are close to identical to each other or evcen some suggested settings as the only ones i can find on the net are for macs and im a pc user.

i have played around with the contrast settings as well as dynamic contrast and the monitor has no gamma settings but ive had a play with the gamma on the ati ccc tav but no matter how much i tweak them i cant get anywhere near the vibrance of the white from my 24 ultrasharp
 
I have a 3008 too, I'd like to know if anyone has a best settings mode and instructions for getting into the factory menu too.
