Settings for FS9 on this computer?

Hi,

These are my current settings:
AMD Phenom II X2 550 AM3 6.2GHZ (3.1GHZ for each core)
4gb Ram
500gb Hard drive
NVIDIA 9500GT 1GB

I had to reinstall Flight Simulator 9 (FS2004) because of problems, Before reinstalling i was getting 30 - 35 FPS. I reinstalled everything i had before but now only getting 17 FPS. Could anyone help? I also installed the Windows again!

you have installed the motherboard drivers, then nvidia drivers.

I probably read the post wrong, you only reinstalled flight simulator, and not the whole operating systems?

must be an in game graphic setting or game update your missing.

I did Install the operating system again!

then there could be a Nvidia control panel setting that needs adjusting?

also, I have noticed myself that after a reinstall that the operating systems seems "sluggish", but after running the windows experience index and letting the operating system work out my score, everything runs as sweet as before. try this?

I am doing the experience index now, I don't know what settings i should tweak?
