Settings for Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS 24"

hi i have just ordered my Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS 24" from overclockers and since it is on This Week Only Deals i think this might help others to.

i would like anyone who has this monitor if possible to pls help with which monitor settings you have used to get best possible pic also if anyone knows any sites with this information that can also help would be appreciated

this is my 1st TFT monitor and i will be pritty lost , will the reresh rate have to be 60Hz with the 1920x1080 res? thnx

i also hope my 8800gtx doesnt take that much of a hit on frames but im sure i will live with it if the HD res hype is anything to go by

But at the end of the day once you have a calibrated profile which although won't be perfect for your screen, all screens differ, it will be better than default.

Brightness and contrast though is a personal preference I find.

when i move things around the desktop or the firefox browser it seems like everything blurrs is this normal? i didnt notice it until i added that colour profile that you linked would this have anything to do with it?

anyone found any good settings for this yet? im still using the out of the box settings on standard mode but i think its a to bright 50 cont / 100 bright

has anyone found any settings for this yet? as last night i changed some settings by mistake in the softosm program and now am getting headaches again (forgot to save profile)
