I would suggest you use whatever settings you find best/most comfortable, unless you are wanting to print or otherwise publish with 100% accuracy to the image you see on screen.
Each individual panel is different. When I used the P2450 I found the image could be improved by lowering the green slider in the Windows 7 calibration by 1-2 notches or so and the blue by 4 notches or so. I also found the gamma a little too low so I raised that just a pinch. Actually the image was pretty good anyway - I'd advise you just tweak the contrast and brightness settings to your liking during games. Remember that most games ignore any kind of calibration you'll be doing so it's not worth the hassle.
