I've personally only ever used 1 crossfire bridge when using 2 cards, but one of the lads in the office swears he gets performance gains when having 2 connected

What are your thoughts? Do you use 1 or 2 adapters when crossfiring two cards?

there is none, it can cause problems on some cards too.

should go like this....

nope, running two bridges gives absolutely no performance increase in the slightest.
The only reason why people use 2 bridges normally is to make sure there is a proper safe connection, so crossfire doesnt fail at any time.
If someone says it increases performance then they are talking ****..

There has never been much of interest in AMD's GFX cards instructions, but a single line " 1 CF bridge for two cards " should have been added 5 Years ago....After they changed from Master/slave crossfire !
