argh this is driving me MAD

anyone know why i keep getting these errors installing windows.

spec

775 dual vsta mobo
805d cpu
geil ddr400 ram
6800gs agp card

ive tried another mobo and get the same error
tried multiple dvd drives and still get the error
tried a complete different mobo and cpu and got the same errors
tried 4 different hdds

i even looked at my faithful windows disk and decided it looked scratched too bits so i bought a new copy and still get the same errors when i try and install windows.

i really am baffled and am about to breakout into tears :p it gets stuck on a different file every time .

any other ideas to try before i go insane .

really  i thought that was just if i wanted to raid them ?

ill try that but iirc i tried to install it onto an ata drive too and failed

I have had that.. and afterwards I realized all my drives were a bit buggered from never having been completely erased before partitioning and installing an OS. So I used a zero writer to completely erase the contents of my drives and that cleared up the issue.

have you got an example of such program i could use ?

that could be my problem as all the drives ive been trying probly havent been fully erased before either.

am trying an intall on an ide drive as we speak. fingers crossed as this is really getting to me now

ok im about to officially give up on my pc. now im getting bsods left right and centre

also the file vga.sys is supposedly corrupted along with a million other random errors :(
