Hi guys!

As you may seen in my coments I just got the CX55 and of course loves it. We all know the power of untochable OLED

Know you guys do a lot of stuff to mitigate the risc of burn in. Insteed of reading thru all threads. Please just tell me how you run it with windows

If I remember e.x - black background / auto hide taskar and use transculent taskbar hider etc. Im I right, and any tips appreciated!

May be a good thread for upcoming OLED owners to I guess. So maybe we can do a tips and trix sticky or so. What do you think ?

I personally use a black background, hide taskbar when not in use. In addition I keep screed shift on and Logo Luminance setting on High.

In games, will usually just tone down any UI where possible. If I go away from screen for a while, just turn the TV off.

There is a c9 thread with all the tips n tricks :)

Here's mine:
Translucent taskbar app
Hide desktop icons app
Reg hack to rotate wallpapers every 15 seconds

Thanks guys and yep I started doing this things also. That Translucent Taskbar are needed, or else there is a line still visable - ****** Windows yeah :/

Btw, will look into Stardock Fences, as it seems much more convenient to show/hide the desktop apps with just a click or 2 :)

Personally:
  • Desktop background on rotation
  • No desktop icons
  • Screensaver set to 1 minute
  • Auto hide taskbar
  • Toggle HUD on/off as required in games that allow keyboard shortcuts

If so then I wouldent say - Tips and Trix thread. It's just a usual thread about the Telly, with 2 million posts, that I read before. Thats why I think a new one With Real Tips and Trix should be created, so more ppl can find it easy and we can just point them to it!

For me black background, desktop icons disabled, screen shift on (sometimes cant see the edge of taskbar because of it :p) and logo luminence high.Trying not to obsess over burn in too much though and if it happens it happens and I'd likely not get an OLED again !
