Sever 2016 backup GUI disappeared

Hi

We have Server 2016 Standard but Windows Server Backup has disappeared from it.

According to Roles/ Features it says Windows Server Backup is installed but I can't find it anywhere.

I have tried removing and adding the feature again but I still can't see it.

If I search for 'backup' in the search box nothing comes up. I found a cmdlet command on Google which checks so see if it is installed and it says it is.

Thanks for your input but I want to use the GUI interface which is what has disappeared.

wbadmin allows you to interrogate the backup in any way you wish, the GUI is not required. I can't understand why you cannot see the GUI but it isn't required.

You manage it from the computer management console irc
either locally or from a remote host.

This is the problem. It has disappeared from the management console.

If you run "mmc" can you manually import the snap-in?
