Hey, just built my PC about a week and a half ago and i now have some questions.
I bought a Custom cooler an Artic Cooler pro 7 Rev2 which i attempted to install but could not figure out at the time even with the instructions, but as i was attempting to follow them i sat it on the CPU and the thermal paste has gone, and have been using the stock AMD heatsink that came with it, could someone instruct me on how i would proceed to using my Artic Cooler Pro 7 Rev2 would i have to reapply the past to the cooler etc?
Another question, my Motherboard does not seem to be controlling my fans at all as according to SpeedFan they sit at around 2000rpm and 1200rpm at all times, and make consistent noise. I have tried adjusting the Temparature that my Fans go to full speed at but it never made much difference if any.
I am looking into getting a basic Fan Controller but until then any help would be appreciated.
I was also wondering what fans you guys would reccomend prefferably as quiet as possible and worth the money to make a difference for Temparatures the fan sizes on my case are 120mm.
i would also like to know what Wireless Networking Card you guys would reccomend? I currently have an old USB adapter but would rather move it internalally. this equates to another problem as well, the Top PCI-e x1 slot on my Motherboard is very very very close the the Silver sound block at the bottom of the I/O section of the Motherboard and im unsure whether any sort of card would fit in there if it were a PCI-E x1 Card, as if i had a Dual slot graphics card it would block of my other PCI-E x1 port which i intended to use for a Capture card a Black Magic Intensity Pro. Which only leaves the PCI port, which i was hoping in either situation of a Dual slot or Single Slot Graphics card would be for my Wireless Networking Card. Hope you understood this last paragraphi as it was quite confusing to explain it properly :S
