Went to go and see 'Severance' last night and I must say I was thoroughly impressed, it's certainly one of the better films I've seen in 2006.
Scary, Funny and with a good story, the acting is top notch too. For anyone looking for something to see I'd seriously recommend this.

It's very like Shaun of the Dead in terms of mixing comedy, horror and a proper story, personally I preferred Severance and would recommend it to anyone.

Went to the cinema last night after Pizza Hut and my mate didn't want to see Snakes on the Plane so we went to see this (of which I knew little about and my friend even less) so it was a very pleasant surprise.

Do yourself a favour and go see it, for me it's the best British film in ages (and everyone knows we do them the best!)

Planning on seeing this tomorrow (good old Orange Wednesdays for the win).
Pleased to see a good review before we go.

Im going to go and see this tomorrow, I was edging towards this one but the descriptions for a lot of the flims out at the moment seem to be pretty minimal and very vauge.

So on your advice im off to see it :p

Yeh. I saw this too. It's really good. Breathe of fresh air for UK Cinema. It's as witty as Shaun of the Dead and as scary as The Shining when it came out.

Watch it, it's good. And if you're still not convinced, it's got boobs in there.

Mmmm, i see this film has Marie Warner out of 24 Season 2 in it :D

Will see this when i get the chance.

She is rather delicious, but does wear more clothes than in The Faculty :(.

Glad so many of you are going to see it.

Just got back from seeing this, loved it! One of the best films this year.
Though why are people saying its like Shawn of the Dead? Its nothing like it! Serverance was horror with the occasional funny parts, Shawn of the Dead was Comedy (I found nothing scary about Shawn of the Dead). The only thing they have in common is the fact they are British.

Seen it on the weekend. Absolutely classic film. Very funny in parts and very scary in other parts. :p Best part was the american bloke with the rocket launcher lol.

It's the fact it's got a clever script that fuses horror and comedy whilst maintaining a serious story. Severance and Shaun of the Dead are the only 2 which immediately come to mind.

I saw this yesterday. I thoroughly enjoyed it but was expecting something along the lines of Shaun of the Dead as the ads led me to believe but this ended up being more serious. The script was awesome, specially regarding Gordan(poor guy!!!) It's worth watching and certainly gives hollywood a run for its money when it comes to slashers.

Over the last 10 or so years it gives Hollywood more than a run for it's money, it shows how it should be done!

True true, hollywoods getting so boring. I try and watch more foreign films as I find them more appealing, same with British.

Saw this on Wednesday and very much enjoyed it. I usually like Danny Dyer stuff and this was no exception. It reminded me of The Office but with death. :D

I saw this time back (my previous post is just a few scrolls up). Once again. I really liked it.
One thing really made me laugh is the American guy comming out with the rocket launcher.

"Hang on, I wanna' try one of these babies"
[Other guy looks. Throws knives away] "Sweet!"
[Points] "Okay, is that them?"
[Other guy] "Yeh!"
"Okay, stand back!"

:D
