Hi, I used to keep up with PC hardware a few years back when I had my ATX build. I got fed up with the size and noise and expense of maintaining a PC so about 3 years ago I chopped it all in and bought a laptop. To be honest I still prefer owning a laptop simply for convenience sake. Lately though I've noticed my laptop struggling to perform certain tasks, and it doesn't give gaming much of a go either. I've also got reason to believe that it's on the way out too.

So I've been thinking I'll probably make my way back in to owning a PC build, but this time I think I'd enjoy the benefits of SFF (desk footprint, ease of transport etc). So this is what I'm proposing;

Silverstone TJ08B-E Temjin Evolution
Gigabyte GA-Z68MA-D2H-B3
Intel Core i5 2500K Unlocked, S1155,
8GB (2x4GB) Kingston DDR3 HyperX Genesis Grey, PC3-12800 (1600)
1GB XFX HD 6850 XXX, 4200MHz GDDR5, GPU 800MHz
550W PSU, OCZ Technology ZS Series, 80 PLUS Bronze

Any potential issues with any of those components? The only components I'm not entirely sure about are; RAM and PSU. I've owned Kingston before which is the only reason I opted for that, and that particular OCZ PSU seems quite popular.

Some OCZ PSU's are not great from what I have read/seen/heard around here (though my brother in law has one and never had a problem with it... yet) but if you are not overclocking then perhaps this one would suit your needs?

The RAM though is good RAM so don't worry about that :)

Stoner81.

If it can be afforded modular PSU's are quite useful, though not essnetail. I had the OCZ 550W for a while before needing a modular PSU. It ran great. :)

Looks a good build, im a little jelous.

Thanks. How are the Be Quiet PSUs rated? I may well swap out the OCZ PSU for a 430W modular Be Quiet PSU.
