I need a new computer for business use. This needs to be small as Ill occasionally take it places, have plenty of USB connections. I will be running a couple of virtual machines occasionally but mainly just doing software development and some CAD work (tiny bit of 3d). Ive got a 128GB Crucial SSD and Ill use my old Nvidia 8800GT for now. Id ideally like to keep costs as low as possible so Im just looking for the best performance/cost thats realistic. Be nice if it wasnt too power hungry too (cant have everything though ;) ).

Memory; 2x8GB not sure which?
Would a 300watt PSU would be enough to save money?
Is intel the way to go for performance?

Thanks for any advice.

OK thanks, updated CPU to Intel Core i5-4570.

I only need two SATA ports, optical drive and SSD. Another would be nice if I decide to mirror the main disk in the future but I probably wont.

I like the fact that board has 10 USB ports on the back. Given the case is small, makes it easier with all the equipment I have (which all connects via USB). It is pricey though, £70 is much better...!
