SFF Media Server

I wonder if anyone could critique build for a high-capacity media server type thing? Will probably run some flavour of Linux with XMBC to play my DVD collection when it's ripped to MP4. Maximum budget is in the region of £700.

I've never built SFF before, so if anyone knows whether the components will actually fit that would help

My only comments are:

- Lovely case but where does the DVD drive go? (Edit - assuming you're be ripping from this PC).
- I'd buy into Sandybridge (socket 1155) at this stage.

Yes, ripping (from my larger / faster computer). My collection takes up far too much space at the moment, 2 large bookcases; It's not sustainable any longer, hence the little PC.

I'll have a look into the Sandybridge processors, I couldn't find a mainboard to fit (but I didn't look very hard).

You may struggle with the big quiet in that case, ive got one for my media server and this cooler:

Is hella tight in there, I would go with that instead. Also I wouldnt update to sandybridge, not going to be a lot of benefit in a server.
