Hi all,

I'm after a cheapish solution to a home IP Camera issue.

We are running several concealed IP cameras and obvious NV IP cams around the property and are needing a system that can be setup in the following parameters:

- Backup (RAID ideally)
- Constant record of multiple streams
- Minimum power due to always-on
- Fast enough to allow data/vid to be streamed to any device on the network for checking the video
- Low noise and low heat generation
(RJ45 spec network)

Does such a list of specifics exist in one system?!

Maybe something based on the AMD Zacate APU? Drop a PCI-E x4 RAID controller into the PCI-E slot and mount everything inside the Fractal Mini ITX NAS case?

Thanks for your tips, however it was slightly out of my budget - did some checking around and settled on the HP Microserver as mentioned here.

Theres a Diskstation Fs on the mm which will do all of the above and more. Will stream to some HTC phones and iphone/ipad via apps.
