Ok so theres the spec of a Mini pc i would love to build, but i was kinda put off by the idea, i have an alternative spec for a normal atx sized pc, but i thought i would chuch this up to see what people thought.

Bascially im concerned about the cooling.. and was wondering if people had an idea if this would be sufficiant..

Anyways, im open to all comments and critisiums, and also please tell me i if i have forgotten anything or if there are things which can be improved..

Um I'm pretty sure the Noctua NH-U9B won't fit... The PSU sits over the top of your CPU, so the clearence certainly isn't enough for a tower heatsink.

Also what are you using the PC for? Have you thought of going down the i5 route? I know its new today, but if you look at the prices and gaming performance it looks very tasty.

Mostly using the PC for heavy gaming, 3D moddeling and rendering using maya, Programming, and graphics type work.

This guy has got the U9DX (made an error in the first post) which leaves a clearance of 3mm between that and the PSU.

This is what im worried about, I know there isnt a lot of room in there and would like advice on keeping it as cool as possible.

I have a 1600 budget and would love to build a sff gaming pc just to be different, im uncomfortable with watercooling at the moment, but have been looking in to it and have plans.
